Sundek is the Pioneer of Decorative Laminates in India. Way back in 1970, the founder CMD of SUNDEK Late Shri Sitaram Gupta began distributorship of Laminated sheets with brand names of Modlam and Glomatt .
Since then several factories to manufacture laminates were established by the group. The other group companies manufacturing decorative laminates namely VTASM Ltd. , Viral Laminates Pvt. Ltd, Uttam Laminates Pvt. Ltd were disposed off and SUNDEK Factory, the latest venture was established in 1987 Bringing your imagination to life since then.

Mr. Shashikant Gupta who joined the group in 1982 has been spearheading the group since 1996 on death of Mr. Sitaram Gupta . SUNDEK is known for its Life Long Lasting Quality products, ethical management and innovative designs. The customers accept that SUNDEK LAMINATES KEEPS NEW ALWAYS. The unique Anti Ageing Formula is at work. We are the management that has longest experience of more than 50 years amongst all companies in the market, in business of manufacturing Decorative Laminated sheets.

Manufacturing

Spread over 53000 Sq.Mtrs. of land, Sundek has a state-of-the art production unit. The production unit boasts of an ultra-modern laboratory with in-house R&D facilities that ensures consistent quality in raw materials, production processes and finished goods. To attain the highest standard in quality, papers and specially selected, impregnated with melamine and phenolic resins and then pressed and hardened together under high temperature and pressure to ensure better bonding. The special finish makes the laminates water and scratch resistant and enables it to withstand wear and tear.

Quality Standards

With a client base spread across the globe, Sundek quality is truly International. The Furniture Industries Research Association (FIRA) of UK has confirmed Sundek manufacturing standards as equal to British European standard “BS EN 438”. Sundek laminates also confirm to ISI standards & ISO 9001:2000 Company. The modern laboratory set-up ensures best quality products by testing not just finished goods but even raw materials.
